I've recently followed your three set instructions to be the network administrator of my server and i have noticed that they're not working. I've changed my nickname to what is needed and i am also an IRC operator with the raw 313 numeric.
313
svcacff62 is an IRC Operator
and still i'm being informed that i am not an IRC operator. it constantly requests that i change my nickname to something else everytime it tries to reauthorise me. Can you please let me know what i am doing wrong?
Thanks. |

Maybe you have some kind of Oper Status hiding turned on. Like with UnrealIRCd you get the user mode +H which hides your IRCop status from all other users (except, of course, from yourself and other IRCops). Maybe you should try /mode YourNickname -H and see if that helps.
EDIT: Note, it's the capital letter H and not the small case h, which is helper status. |
