Disconnected from server

Hi All,

We are using Net Irc1.2 for our chat purposes. I want to have a authenticated based logins for each of our user. So what i did is checked out the anonymous access in the System Manager's properties of Microsoft chat server and enabled the Basic authentication option. Also i have created some users in the Active Directory of chat server. I gave them the username and the password.

Now when i try to connect to the irc, it says the following and gets disconnected.

1) Trying to connect to the server
2) Connected to server
3) Clear text :Authentication failed
4) (Username) (IP address) : 001 No Authorization.

These points flashes in and then goes off and a " DISCONNECTED FROM SERVER" error message comes up.

What could be the problem here, what i have to do to have a authenticated based logins into the server. Any suggestions....
