Coming from a long line of sceptical fundamentaly cracked conservatives, is not easy and to find a love on the internet isnt the easiest thing in the world. after talking to a woman on the internet for almost 2 years we decided to meet. went very well. i was invited on a trip, on which we fell in love and became very happy with each other. another year of dating and we decided to get married and have a kid. we have been married, it will be 4 years on the 29th of feb this year, and we are still very very happy together. so if you find the right person on the internet its not impossible to fall in love!

and this is coming from a guy.

So all you geeks out there start being nice to those female users Wink

Well all i can say im glad for you guy's Very Happy

I alos met my current gf online....when i started my own irc server...She was one of the first ppl that started to chat there...we were friends for 3 months or so...she always made jokes and asked me to come visit.....its funny i always talked to her about my other gf's dumping me and giving me trouble....and never noticed the wonderfull person that was right under my nose....Well....i started to notice finally and realized that...she was a WONDERFULL person....i went for a visit (she stays 12 hours from me) when i saw her the first time i was scared that she wasnt going to like me...but she did...we had a wonderfull time and the sunday i asked her out before i had to come home...We have been going out for 4 months now going on for 5...and i havent loved any girl like i love her...she is my everything and more....i miss her very much but going to visit this weekend Very Happy

Its kind of weird, most of us have found love on our own IRC Server, I also met my gf on my own irc server, well I knew her before that but we falled in love, so I think you can find love on IRC because I did and we have been together for 2 years in RL

Well, I have a non-geek girlfriend, but before I asked her out, I named one of my servers I run here at home to have the hostname "laura" and let it sit there and get a high uptime, told her about it (the uptime is currently about 50 days) and she fell absolutely in love with me Smile
