Given that HTML is disabled could you not just use [url=<url>] tags instead?

And when I view source, it shows up as the following in your post in the raw HTML:

That would be your profile options at play there, Jobe - the "Always allow HTML" option, to be specific. If you've set this to false, then no matter if HTML is allowed in the post or not (set on a per-post basis) then you're going to see the raw html markup (with tags HTML encoded - that is, "<" -> "&lt;")

Well I haven't touched those settings since I registered, so unless they got changed some other way, theyre defaults from when I registered.
