| I just took out the age limit that locks threads after being idle for 120 days. |

| I know, but after finding the whois thread unable to be used because it's so old, while still relevant, I decided to lift the restriction. |

| This may be overkill, but what about a warning message on the reply page telling the user that a thread is over 120 days old or something? |

That make a good substitute. Instead of locking it at least
we can tell the person who's making the post ''Hey this post is
really old" |

| Ironic thing is, SMF has such a capability built-in (at least the installation of my own forums provides such a function, and I can't recall ever adding it). |
