True, I forgot about that totally.
I remember once that I created a fake user all together, Johann Meyer if I recall, to test it. It's pretty simple because all I did was create a new e-mail address and a nickname (Jman) to use this new Identity. Nobody even noticed that I was really Trixar_za, which I found very amusing, while I was causing a ruckess in my own help channel...
Anyway, Invisible, mind giving us a little insert about your experiences? Like what have you worked with IRCd and Services wise? Have you used *nix before and compiled programs to run on IRC? Have you modified code or written modules for the IRCd or Services? Stuff like that so people can gage you on where they can put you staff wise. |

I have worked with about every ircd... charybdis, ircu, unreal, ircu+nef. Services I have worked with include X3, anope, srvx, atheme. I am sure I am missing some. I have compiled and configged most of the above. There is a *nix box about 4 feet from me as I speak. I have done few mods to services or IRCD's, however I am looking into doing some in the future. I have been doing php coding for a while now and am looking into expanding my knowledge and applying php techniques to other coding languages.
Stuff like that. |
