The server has been upgraded today. It's a completely new system, only the hard drives and raid card are used from the old system.

| opteron 254 -- the 2 prefix means the cpus are made to work in pairs. So 2 real cpus, not dual core. The next time we upgrade, it will likely be to 4 or 6 core system. They're a lot cheaper than real smp servers due to cheaper mobo, cheaper cpus, etc. |

Jason i was wondering something about your site here. how come you spider doesn't index fserv/xdcc? just not you thing? |

Might I suggest paying attention to the number of pipes per CPU. Some have multiple cores, but still only 1 pipe per CPU instead of 1 pipe per core. |
