Most seem like they are a split from one to another. AustNet -> AustIRC i think is one of them.  |

they are not related to austirc or austchat or austnet or any of these parently.. they .. well somehow.. come from nowhere..

Hi guys, just to clear things up AustIRC.net has no connection with AustIRC.org / AustNet.org we were formly known as RootIRC until we decided to rename and use the AustIRC.net domain which had been collecting dust since late 2005.
We are the larger of all 3 Networks (AustIRC.net / AustNet.org / AustIRC.org) in servers but not users so feel free to pop on and make us your irc home.
Hope this settles the confusion once and for all.
btw we have (what we think) a great website too so check that out too as you might find some useful ideas for your own networks website.

Thanks Stefano.. It's great when people contribute to boards with positive comments. Although i only stated Australia, I also see you have the largest real-time lebanese network in the world!! Tops!! *smirks*
Although your figures are a little off regarding our network. It's only 13 servers [ssl] with about 120 users. =)
Still growing stronger everyday, we just moved into the asia region and now cover; East and West Coasts of Australia, United States, England, Germany, Sweden and Malaysia.
