I have read the topics where the users have exactly the same problem. Now my question is the following. What's the solution so I get the email from searchirc to get through. Looking up and down west to east into my cpanel settings I've found a mx setting which allows me to change the mx server (Screenshot below)

if i change this to my free yahoo.co.uk email (which has pop3 access) or gmail will the emails get through?
thanks for the help in advance
kind regards. |

your MX records are for specifying a server to manage your email outside of the domain itself.
What you're likely looking for is a mail forwarder. |

forwarders are caught first by my server so if sirc email is invallid then there won't be no forwarding.
Now my question is the following:
why not searchirc uses a VALID email account like idk "submissions@searchirc.com" and then they reject the incoming email?????
this way emails wont get filtered and everyone is happy |

It's a Gmail issue. Read Jason's comments here.
The way to fix it is to disable address verification. |

what does gmail have to do with searchirc and my emails? ;o
there's no way i can get into that level of server configuration because all i have is a cpanel account, regular webhosting account.
i guess my network won't be listed on searchirc then |

| We use Gmail for our email service. You need to contact your hosting provider with the relevant information to get it changed. |
