Or compile with cygwin if it's possible.

I use both *nix and winblows (winblows just for gaming mostly) I like irssi and jIRCii, jIRCii is a ircII full GUI clone written in java and perl, its really nice, but it lacks some features, nothing a little scripting cant help Razz

I've recently been using xchat for windows but it expired after 30 days. So much for "free". Does anyone know where to download a full version of xchat for windows?

You've obviously not bothered to read anything on the xchat website. Their "official" Windows builds are shareware, however you're free to download the source to build your own (and even redistribute the binaries). If you, understandably, don't want to build your own version you could try one of the Silverex builds: http://www.silverex.org/download/

I am looking for a script that is good for :

1. IRCOp commands
2. Good Protection for Channels
3. Anope Services ( Chanserv / NickServ / etc )

Something that looks nice and handles just as well.

Or at least a decent looking script and some add-ons that someone can point me to.

StarShine, I have one scriptlet that you may find useful. For the moment it just handles channel/network issues regarding spamming et cetera.

You can view it for yourself here. I am in the process of making a complete set of scripts for distribution that has stacks of features for both normal users and for opers equally. Fire me an email/pm/MSN if you want a specific script and I'll see what I can do (no promises, I'm hardly online but when I am, I do check my messages)
