do you think, if possible, that there should be a limit to the number of domain names that any one person/company may register (in an effort to reduce pointless spam sites)

over the years ive noticed several hundred sites with random names dedicated to serving a single advertisment for some obscure company no-one has ever heard of, generally using a totally unrelated domain name. i am aware that many of these sites may be placeholder pages for the real owner of the doamin, but there are still thousands out there wasting good domain names. my point being, do you think there should be a limit of like 20 or something on the number of domains any single person/company may register?

and before i am flooded with comments about the internet being anonymus, yes, i am aware you can fake domain registration details, but im asking do you think this would be nice if such a limit were feasible and possible to implement?

Personally I always look for at least three TLD's for every name I register. This would limit me to 6 names. Sod that
