a irc net admin told me i was being blocked because i had a bot ident and bot *something*, and i was connecting over 1000 times in less than 30 mins. Do i have a botnet running on a computer in my local network, and if yes, how do i get rid of it?
Note: I'm not the admin of my local network, and the local net admin is off today. |

| maybe you have an open proxy and dont know it, malicious users can use your ip with this, i really doubt its a botnet as you mention |

Don't listen to v3|0c17y as he creates them
How to check if ur pcc is infected with a botnet or xdcc bot
Go to ur C drive, go to windows, go to system32
then go to cache, and look for a file with xdcc or ircoffer in it, or rxbot, u find those, u are infected
AVG antivirus poicsk up botnet and xdcc infections very well |

turns out it was fake. FBI banned me and said i had a botnet. GGGGGHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAA!  |
