While hybserv is not that great, it is fault tolerant, and is capable of taking a lot more abuse than the ircservices based daemons.
However, it is not possible to link hybserv with anope, as hybserv is for TSora-based IRCds, and Unreal is an ircd.dal based IRCd.
The following is a list of server software which works with hybserv:
- hybrid6
- hybrid7
- ratbox
- cs-ircd
- freeworldircd
- shadowircd (pre 3.5/4.0 branch)
- bahamut
- ultimate3 (pre alpha26)
Good luck! |

er, why does it work with ultimate3 if it wont work with unreal? Ultimate3 is based on bahamut which is of course ircd.dal, right? or am i imagining things here... |

Unreal is ircd.dal.
Bahamut is hybrid with some ircd.dal code, but not really.
Literal ircd.dal based ircd's use command tokenization for interserver communications. Bahamut does not support this. |

You must be referring to dreamforge with "ircd.dal" then . |

Dreamforge is a branch of ircd.dal, version 4.6.
ircd.dal 4.5 was Aetobatus's branch, and it was referred to as 'Aeto'. |

| Nice, but Unreal is based off Dreamforge, not Aeto. Be specific. |
