This past weekend (Feb 5-6) we upgraded our databases to provide better support, but in the process lost the last two weeks of network data.
We lost recent network info updates, recent network additions, setting user accounts to modify network info, and some networks that were recently reindexed.
We are very sorry for the trouble that this may have caused you. If this has affected you, please visit irc.searchirc.com/#searchirc for support. We will be working as much as we can to try to get everything sorted out. We will take situations on a case-by-case basis to make sure everyone gets set back up properly.
It is probably a better idea to visit our IRC channel, as opposed to emailing us, at least in regards to this situtation. (Other concerns can still be emailed in, or answered by visiting our support channel) |

| It's not as bad as it sounds - everything is normal but the networks table has lost the last two weeks of changes. This means if you got access to modify a network or made changes to your network information in that time frame, you may have been affected by this. The loss wouldn't have been as bad if the most recent backup wasn't corrupted. |

Just a note....if you had access to change your networks info in the last 2 weeks...I have a log of me adding it...so I am adding them all back one by one....so check in your CP before you come and ask for it again please

| As it turns out, there was another issue with this situation - when the network database was missing, the robots launched, added new networks and caused an internal numbering conflict, causing channels to be added to the wrong network. I've just cleared the channel database and it will start over fresh. This really isn't an issue since the channel database is completely new every 7 days (old data purged). I've kept all channels with reviews however. |
