Three changes put in place ...
1. Network deactivations are now automated. If SearchIRC doesn't see you for a week, your network is deactivated. This has caused a lot more people asking for reactivations.
2. Because of #1, I've put in place a new reactivation request screen in the control panel. Just pick your network and reactivate. It's that simple.
3. Network rank used to be based on all networks in SearchIRC, including the deactivated ones. I've changed the code to count only currently active networks. This should make a lot more sense now that there are 6000 networks in the database. |

New change on network reactivations: All networks that have been deactivated are available to be reactivated.
If a network was automatically deactivated, you can instantly reactivate it.
However if a network was manually deactivated, the reactivate request will go to a moderator for approval before being reactivated. The reason for this is to prevent a network who was removed for faking stats or some other such reason from being able to be reactivated instantly. |
