Starline IRC is currently looking for a number of networks to merge into it.

| also the help they are explaining, is i said i would link a webchat to there network, but i decided not to because i was ignored for over 5 hours, and i had to get it up, cause i had a userbase comming, i even send there lead admin Russ a private on searchIRC saying im sorry but i really appreciate the help (which was them trying and unsuccessfully installing something server side?) |

| I don't mean to throw dirt on anyone, but i've seen Samson join many networks including mines using the admins to do things for him. He even joined another network just to troll and what not so...I think the ban fits perfectly. |

| i joined alot of networks at first, to get a webchat set up not my fault half the admins couldent do it within 10 hours, so i left, you cant expect someone to wait an entire day, as an supposed experienced network admin learns to use his own ircd to add a line or two of allowance in it the net im at now did it in 5 min and they knew nothing of it, |

people in here are from Europe and America, so its quite normal for you to have time difference. So, you must understand that they might have been sleeping those 10 hours you waited.

Yes, people that pay monthly to provide a free service should enjoy being yelled at by a grown adult that collects movie action figures which constantly inflates the number of users he actually has on his forum because they don't provide him with (free!) support fast enough for his liking.... How DARE they not help you?!

Yeah, use fake BNC users instead - they talk even less! Oh wait, how about linking networks with InspIRCd but using different network names?! That isn't meta-network at all! Er... Seriously, there are 101 other ways to be abusive using IRC software, yet only Janus gets the blame. I've also noted that the majority of these 'attackers' also ARE BNC/ZNC and/or InspIRCd users - some who DO use these software like that. Irony much? |

+1 Trixar.. Even if some networks act professionally, which is something i consider essential, people shouldn't forget we provide free services and thus shouldn't be yelled at the way you would yell to a company you pay for its services.. |

| From my point of view we tried to help Samson but he wanted it done instantly. We were looking into an issue and explained that to him. I guess you can't please everyone. The issue was resolved the very next day which ok isn't ideal but we sorted it but it was to late by then. |

| Well to be honest about this Samson how many people are willing to run a chat client that require root to run?, i mean whole system is stupid ideal and a load of crap, and i'm sorry that we couldn't make it work for you. but to bash us for it is really kiddy like, so do all a favor and grow up please... have nice day Samson..... |

i think, you have no idea what your talking about Goddess, u dont need root to run a chat heres what a flash policy is
When you can't connect to a server and the client shows a security sandbox violation message, the server the IRCd is running on does not allow connections from a Flash client.
Due to the socket security policy Adobe introduced with Flash Player 9,0,124 you are forced to have a daemon that delivers a crossdomain.xml to allow establishing a connection.
It is not a restriction by the webclient but one of Adobe Flash!
The policy daemon must run on the same machine where your IRC server is. It is no client-side solution!
so, what does this have to do with needing root to chat, i i linked u a page with 5 commands from the offical adobe site (which i ended up doing my self) and it worked. im sorry you dont have a tech staff that can do any nix based commands. MY BAD for assuming you have a professional staff
