When new users register have a box popup with big text that says "be patient" and "read the !@#$@#! manual"..
The constant barrage of people asking about network info updates and stuff like that is ridiculous. |

I feel sorry for the users who have been here over 4/5 years who must have posted the same link hundreds of times all because somebody can't be assed reading the instructions, it must be tiresome.

Actually, I noticed with most forums that people can't even be arsed to to use the search function or read a post directly below theirs with a similar or even exactly the same heading for the answers they seek.
I have real trouble helping people who can't be bothered to even do a little bit of work for themselves. I also find it funny how some of them believe they DESERVE support for the free services they use and aren't afraid to point out this 'fact'. |

No they don't, they just click "agree" or "ok" and not read a single word. |

| Well then if that's the case, perhaps a spam filter on the forums were if the first post contains "my s3rv3r haz not liseted helpp m33 pl0x" or other annoying posts, they get removed from the gene pool. |

Yeah I feel the same way far as helping those who can't do a bit of investigating on their own. I would suggest an FAQ with the more frequent questions, but that would most likely be ignored/not read as well.
Isn't it funny how people seem to feel like they deserve alot of things these days? Sure wasn't like that when I was growing up. |
