If Chrome had used Gecko instead of WebKit/kHTML for the layout engine, I'd have likely voted for that instead of Firefox... FF3.5 was a decent browser, and it appeared the memleaking had been fixed; however 3.6 seems to have a memleak again Sad

PS: As I write this, FF has been running for 24 hours, and is consuming 266MB system memory (peak 380MB) as well as 257MB swap - good thing I have enough sysmem to handle those kind of demands Smile

I don't know but, Firefox seems to be less bloated on Linux than on Windows, as far as I'm concerned though, I like Opera. It loads a hundred times quicker than Firefox on Windows and tabbing seems to be a lot smoother on it than in Firefox.

FF on Linux and Windows 's all fine.. However on OS X it's a complete PITA Sad

You gotta restart that thing every goddamn 3rd or 4th day cause everything is lagging - scrolling, opening tabs, closing tabs, clicking links etc...

I'd try Chrome if i wasn't so "dependant" on all those Plugins (ABP, NoScript, Ghostery, Firebug, FirePHP, ....).

=(

I used Opera for awhile, but these days it seems like I use FireFox a lot more. I don't think Chrome is too bad, but I just don't feel as comfortable and at ease using it, though I might need to give it more of a chance. Internet Explorer is the last one I would use.
