So, fellow IRC'ers, what is your music of choice when socialising on that reality-altering drug we affectionately know as "IRC"?
As an example, I primarily listen to metal-rooted artists such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, et al with a mix of electronica/DnB (oh how I can't get enough of Robert Miles, or ParagonX9) |

I listen to pretty much anything to be honest, although I would say I listened to Oasis and The Beatles the most, also listen to alot of David Guetta. To be honest though I would listen to anything, it's nice to have a bit of backing music while your on IRC |

Any select tracks you fellow IRC'ers tend to pick above the others when going for that all-night chatting session? Here's a few of mine- Disturbed - Liberate
- Iron Maiden - No Prayer For The Dying
- Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
- Darude - Sandstorm
- Sonata Arctica - Dream Thieves
And plenty more |

| Why do people have so much hate for Metallica's later stuff? I happen to like some of each album since and including the black album. |

Where I sway away from Metallica, however, is when the track title/album cover reads "live" in any way. As good as Metallica are, I find that with their live performances they seem to be more about showing off to the crowds and not about putting the spirit they put into their tracks as they do in the studio.
That is, however, just my opinion |

No Astronomy (Garage Inc), Unforgiven (Metallica aka Black), Unforgiven II (Reload), One (...And Justice For All), Frayed Ends of Sanity (...And Justice For All), Bleeding Me (Load), Ride The Lightning (Ride The Lightning), Turn The Page (Garage Inc), and/or Whiskey In The Jar (Garage Inc)?
I wonder how you stand with Iron Maiden, Disturbed, Drowning Pool or Fear Factory then |

Well, it mostly depends on my mood. I'm mainly a rock/alternative/metal person though I tend to listen to a variety, such as electronic/techno and blues. Not a country or rap person though. My list is pretty big but varies including (in no specific order)
Aerosmith
Metallica
Led Zeppelin
Cradle Of Filth
Lamb Of God
Sepultura
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Drowning Pool (home grown ftw)
Pantera (home grown again ftw)
Eric Clapton
Tool
White Snake
Def Leppard
System Of A Down
Rage Against The Machine
Nirvana
Smashing Pumpkins
Toadies
Ozzy Osbourne
Marilyn Manson
Slayer
HateBreed
Definitely not a complete list by any means, but you get the idea. |
