| i recieved a message off 1 of my suprt ops this mornin when unfortunately I wasn't at my pc. Could you let me know if somebody opened a load of rooms and was banned off GigaIrc. He seems to have crashed Giga. We think we know how it is and if we are right need to report him. Thanx |

| DreamsGirl, SearchIRC indexes IRC networks, we do not manage them. So we have no way of knowing who opened a channel or whether or not a particular user has been banned. You would be better asking the administrators of GigaIRC about this. |

Definetely, it could be that the admins of that network didn't pay the hosting bill, or they took it offline, or something similar too.
Not every IRC connection failure is because of an attack, though most are nowadays it seems  |
