Hi,
I'm using Internet Explorer and i'm unable to add a description to my network information.
I'm unable to see a text box to add info.
Any suggestions?

Hi Jason,
Java script was enabled and I installed the latest version of Sun Java
but still no succes. I think it has something to do with Internet Explorer 8.
I will have a further look and let you knowwhat the solution might be.
Could be usefull in the future.

As a totally unrelated note - Javascript and Java have nothing to do with each other. Actually one of the reason that they named it Javascript (or so the story goes) was to get some of the fanbase from Java - it's been confusion ever since..
Anyway, if all else fail, try another browser like Firefox or Opera - I've done it in both and it works (you might have to wait a few seconds for the editor boxes to appear, but it works) |

| why is it takeing so long for SearchIrc to update the server information such as services and types, i know it takes time but how longer is it going to be befor SearchIrc approvies all this?????? |

Firstly please dont dig up old threads unless you have something useful to contribute, its considered rude otherwise especially when its not your own thread.
Secondly be patient, all the staff who approve updates here are volunteers and have lives outside of SearchIRC that are of a higher priority than SearchIRC. |
