Hey there, a while ago I registered with my real nick (eggburt) rather than the network nick, is there any way I can get that back?
I can't remember the password or email address I used, and it generally looks spammy posting on the network account
Cheers!
P.S. I was unsure as to where to post this, my apologies if it landed in the wrong place |

| If you can't remember the email address used to register the account, nor the password, then how can you prove you're the account's owner? I'm not trying to imply that you're lying to us or anything, but without such checks, anyone could be trying to snag anyone else's account for whatever reason that may possess them. |

That is a good point, in theory sending the password reset to the email address set would be enough (hopefully I didn't use an ancient @domain that has expired), as I'd be able to do that if I had the most basic of info. I'd have to be the worst social engineer ever if I couldn't get the registered email address!
If I recall the account isn't linked to any network (if it was it'd be the network I'm linked to on this account!), and hasn't been used to post so damage would be minimal.
Either way it's not majorly important, would just prefer posting as my nick than network is all |
