BEFORE REQUESTING HELP, here is a list of the most commonly asked questions and their answers:
How to add your network to SearchIRC
How to update information about a network listed on SearchIRC
How to reset your SearchIRC password
If you have lost your SearchIRC username, or forgotten your email address (which means you can't request a password reset). You will have to sign up with a new account. Since you don't know your own contact information, there is no way for us to verify you are who you are, or magically find out what username or email you might have once used.
If you have a general IRC question that is unrelated to SearchIRC, such as how to get ops back in a channel, or how to use color codes, please post them in the community forum.
IF YOUR NETWORK HAS BEEN DEACTIVATED
Networks that have been automatically deactivated can be reactivated by filling out a simple form. Please login to your control panel and follow the directions on the "Request network reactivation" page.

| PS: If you're asking for assistance regarding being banned from a network and/or channel on a network (any network) - or anything to that effect (ie: if you're banned from anything other than SearchIRC itself (or a project ran by SearchIRC)) we simply cannot help you so please do not post such requests. |

| it seems people of late have been private messaging me directly with their requests as opposed to posting them in here - while I appreciate people coming to me for help, my time online of late has sharply declined from what it once was due to circumstances beyond my control (translation: it could very well be weeks before I get your request and answer it when it probably would have taken only a few days if you'd posted the same request here in this forum) |
