Hello ladies and gents, I used to be the owner of Fusionchat.ORG for a long long time, it was a very nice and big network at the time, but after a few years I lost interest in the IRC world and my lack of motivation to work and spend time on irc ended up making the folks wander away to other networks.
However, several people still contact me to make a new FusionChat, they loved the way the net used to run.
So what I'm offering here is to whoever has a stable shelly willing to run anope/unrealircd the domain so they can run as FusionChat.ORG and this will certainly provide some steady userbase as the weeks roll by.
The few requirements are that I want to have Netadmin flags and that the setup and the network rules must be pretty much the way Fusion used to be back in the day.
If you are not interested about this, simply skip this topic.
If you are, though, leave me a PM and we can talk about it.
The very reason I'm doing this is because lots of folks want a fusionchat but I don't have the time, not the motivation to do this all over again, but perhaps somebody out there (if IRC ain't that dead yet) wants to put a shelly for a new fusion? that'd be nice.
I cannot offer much time, nor I want to spend hours configuring networks and stuff.
There's two programs I've released to the open source community which used IRC and fusionchat as backend for user interaction, these proggys lack of this function due to the unexistence of the network (heh..) so whoever wants to bring fusionchat.org back to life, will get these clients and many more.
If you are interested about buying the domain from me, that can be talked too.
So please leave me a message if you're interested. |

Fusionchat failed because its administration failed... Just a warning to anyone intrested in this post. I wouldnt. The network got a bad name and died due to its owner being a control freak . He never did want to spend £££ on a shell either. . x |

Please do not attempt to bring up the money issue when it comes to IRC Networks. It does not take a lot of money to start an IRC Network. A domain roughly cost 10 bucks max (for a year) and you can get a shell big enough to run the server and services for under 10 bucks a month.
Go out and wash a couple of cars and you could have your expenses paid for a year. |

I can get alot of people back me up why that network failed. Im not trash talking him, im just stating information about the network.
Hes bascilly saying... Give me a server so i can run my network again... Hosting is extremely cheap now a days... and as you know mage so well you would know he leeched off everyone he met. Fine example... FastUplink .

| Pretty sure that FusionChat didn't fail because of mage. mage was an oper on my network and was nothing but professional. Also, it looks like he's offering the domain to someone else, as in they will be running the network as he doesn't have the time to do it because of work. |
