|

Hello SearchIRC, i come from Makaiwell, a network recently out of a bad merge.
We are looking for a network, preferrably our size, if not less, looking to combine futures.
We have a staff team of 8, with 8 servers.
We have a flash webchat, thats being rennovated as we speak.
We only ask that we use our services databases(if md5 encrypted, we can merge DBs) for our Anope services.
You can run stats if youd like. We have our own network protection including bopm, and a custom server developed by one of our opers.
We can be flexible to meet your needs! For specifications, we use unreal/anope, and all unreal servers use our special config pushing system, making it easy to update olines, etc from one central location.
Come check us out irc.makaiwell.com |

| If you could, please explain your "config pushing system" and how is it different from Unreal's remote includes system that can already do centralized configuration changes and remote rehashes. |

| Thats just the network discussion channel rules, users have the freedom to do as they wish with their own channels. |

Joek, your network seems to be doing well on it's own without needing to really link with other networks. Maybe you should focus on alternative means of linking services, like a channel relay between networks or even Janus links.
With many merges and links you never really know what you're getting until about a month or two in where things start falling apart. With linked channels you actually notice pretty quickly if the link (ant it's users or staff) will work with your network.
Just some food for thought hey |

I like to define channels under 2 categories:
Real - (example: a webchat for ... lvrcr.org - community webchat) * not owned by ircops
Personal - (i make a chan just to chat with friends that are already there, like on my network: #JoeK)
Ever since this demerge went through (were the ones who called it), the other oper had bribed most of the Real channels with either webhosting storage, olines, and the works. Theres only "1" real channel left (roughly looking). |

Hi JoeK,
I'd like to learn more about your network, I don't see us doing a full blown link with your network but maybe we can work together on a couple of projects and link a few channels. Feel free to stop by sometime at IRCBox as well. |

We recently switched to InspIRCd as well and are looking for links, so if you're still interested in your merger we should talk. |

| Why do you need 11 servers (I just checked) for roughly 150 users? |
