Spam Is Annoying

some one logged onto my server using my searchirc name an a host close to mine and spammed that anyone elts get this? i herd that server is all spammers and opers spamming it pretending it is not them.

Those are users on there network they know about the spam and they tolerate it. no user would waste such time logging onto networks. It's users there and opers idc what they say i think there network should be removed from SiRC until the spam stops and i bet after there network is removed the spam will stop.

IRC Networks aren't de-indexed on hear-say (it used to be that way, but people abused the concept and Jason soon got wise to it).

It doesn't matter how many people come on and say this network is spamming them. If that network denies that they're doing it, then who are you to say they're not telling the truth? People spam pretending to be from other networks all the time trying to give that network a bad name. In my opinion, unless the staff outright admits they're doing it, you'll never have proof, and therefore no reason to have the network delisted. As far as the user comments, it doesn't implicate the staff of that network doing any of the spamming.

I did a whowas leet on your server, and then whoised Emma. Her hostname doesn't even slightly match what your hostname is supposed to be.

Bro leet came back after using a proxy and it matches to Emma perfect he came back as ddos

im not going to paste both there hosts an ips because its wrong an will be removed but they matched i have no need to lie. The users of p2p are spamming the network and its funny cause i logged onto the network and got ddosed when i confronted them? Now if an oper is not involved how would they of obtained my ip address? I just spent the last hour talking to my provider.

Maybe you should read an old post of yours. You should know all too well that people can pretend to be someone else in order to spam.

Yes except in my case i knew the user who was spamming my network. I as an admin removed him from the network banned him and because of all the spam i changed the name of my server to IRC.ConvictedIRC.NET i took steps to end it in there case they are doing nothing. The users are spamming an they as opers are behind it i got DDOSED when i began to explain there and only an IRCop would of had my IP also i know epoch from a old dalnet hacker team. They are not innocent or any where near it and why are you defending them? Im not going to just accuse a network of spamming but after researching this i noticed the IP/Host they slipped up. Emma is a user there and im sure its more then one user doing it. Also when they spam saying ill get ddosed i go there i dont spoof my IP and then get ddosed that just tells me an ircop there is behind it or is atleast giving the ip out to users who are doing it.

I'm not defending them at all. I just know you like to start stuff for no reason. There was really no point in crying about someone spamming your network. It happens to all of us. If you don't like it, or can't deal with it, maybe you should find something else to occupy your time.

The spamming was fine but when i go there to confront it and i end up being shuned? An DDOSED? Thats another story that just shows the server staff is not innocent.

Or they're sick of you accusing them of spam? Leave it alone and learn to deal with it like an adult. They don't need a reason to ban you, it's their network!

Tsk tsk... Leet, you're obviously someone with some position of power on your own network[s]; what say you use the tools those networks provide you for dealing with spam and don't make any noise about it?

I'm yet to see a quakenet, efnet or even undernet operator come on here and complain about them being spammed and/or DDoS'd into oblivion (I'll wager they'll get more of both than you ever could imagine too)

Simple fact of the matter is that it's a daily occurance on the internet as a whole, get over it, move on - nobody really cares; it's just a fact of life.
