okay this is my problem: in 2004 my irc network was added to search irc by an admin of mine. I was inactive for some time and well, some idiot admin glined the searchirc bot so the bot isnt doing anymore stats about the network.
i would like to see my network in the searchirc list now :>
it is called irc.devnode.net, its also added via networkname DevNode but well i actually cant change anything of the informations about my own IRC server on searchirc .
I also cant add it again cuz it says there is already an entry in the database. It would be great if some admin could just remove DevNode from Searchirc or like let have the regististered user "DevNode" own it.
Thanks :> |

i would quote you but, "Sorry, new users are not allowed to post comments that contain urls in order to prevent spamming."^^ *dang*
Well yes and no. There is an existing account that can manage the network named "DevNode" (network already added searchirc) but i cant remember what username and password or email adress ive used. It has been a while..^^
Well okay 3. says "Under MyNetworks header, click on the "Request network access" link and select the network you need access on" but who will add that request. The User who added the DevNode network to searchirc? then i got a problem, cuz I added DevNode. but i dont remember what email etc ive used-.- ... so thats why i guess that i may need an admin^^.
Well if i cant get access to it then ill ask to delete it. |

no, when you click that link, it will tell you that a searchirc bot will come to the network in X amount of minutes and will whois a given nick (it may pay to make sure the searchirc.com domain isn't in your G:Line list, or any of the searchirc IPs in the GZ:Line list) - when you have gotten to that stage, get on your network (if you're not on it already), change nick to what the page tells you, oper up, and make sure it can get at your oper information (eg: if you use UnrealIRCd, lose the +H usermode).
The bot should tell you if you have been granted access or not after whoising you. |
