I've got 2 servers..
and 5 available IPs..

first server: is located on USA, and I could give 2 ips from there: (with ssh access)
second server: is located in Netherlands, and I could give 3 ips from there. (without ssh access)

there are only to rules..

an Oline, I don't chat too often, but just for fun Very Happy
and not run any IRCD which uses more 64 Ram during the compilation.

contact me here through PM or sending my mail to zork@undercraft.org

I thought that maybe you guys wants to look at the machines' uptime:

server 1: 01:55:57 up 9 days, 7:29, 3 users, load average: 0.10, 0.07, 0.07

(rebooted due to a kernel upgrade)

server 2: 7:59am up 66 days 21:33, 4 users, load average: 13.78, 13.29, 13.23

You also didn't answer the obvious question (because I personally never assume anything). What type of connections are you talking about? BackBone? T1? an old rotary modem? Those second set of numbers are unhealthy, but then I've seen a couple of really good hosting companies with those kind of numbers too. Remember, sometimes packetkids happen.

ok, well. the first server has 45 Mb/s dedicated, but I usually download at ~340 and upload at the same rate.
the second one has 100 Mb/s.

Load averages under 2.00 are quite fine, and over 5.0 is a bit high, but with optimization it should be fine.

I have a dedicated box. It just hosts 1 IRCd, a couple of eggdrops, a couple of bncs.

I should really find a use for it.

You resort to giving away shells to get an oline on a network?

You don't need an oline to "have fun" and meet people....
