If you are on the network, type /whois nickname. If it's a major network, you can also try http://searchirc.com/whois ! |

Hmm.. there seems to be something wrong, heh. It says:
| Quote: | Options
HTML is ON
BBCode is ON
Smilies are ON |
Though the BBcode URL tag, and HTML's A tag did not work .
Help?
Anyway, what I was saying is, you can also try SearchIRC's whois page: http://searchirc.com/whois
Hugs! |

I've bugged Jason about this before. I noticed it when I tried to add a URL in my signature (see that blank line below, there should be a link there). Maybe this time Jason will fix it |

Example whois output:
| Code: |
ed_ is ed@ed.searchirc.org * SearchIRC INOHI
ed_ on @#ed_is_cool
ed_ using irc.avalonworks.ca Avalon Works Corporation
ed_ has been idle 22secs, signed on Sat Nov 29 19:06:03
ed_ End of /WHOIS list.

If they are in a channel, it will be displayed on the second line.
If they are not in a channel, you will simply not see that second line. |

I have a question, but I'm too lazy to create a new topic, so I'm gonna stick it in here. :p
I was just wondering... where did the IRC Quotes link go? That's my favorite feature on this whole website and for somereason, I'm not seeing it.
Maybe, I'm just over looking it, maybe not... please!! Someone have to tell me that I'm not insane! |

The IRC Quotes link is on the front page, it's got a big icon of a notebook with pencil.
The direct link to it is http://searchirc.com/irc-quotes
Also, any channels a user is in that are +s or +p, will not show up in a /whois. |
