It *really* pisses me off to see you as a group just arguing and bickering at one another like little kids! Can we please try to act your age? I mean come on!

Like here: http://searchirc.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=5043. I just find these wars to be a complete nusiance and just seem to irritate everyone who isn't involved and the moderators. To be honest it is the one thing that ruins me coming here.

What is your feedback on it?

Do you have a specific comment you're refering to?

Arguing/debating is different than flaming. That's why the forum rules say no personal attacks, and no naming names.

Example: I say Anope rocks, someone else says Anope sucks. That's not a flame war, that's just differences of opinion. That happens a lot because people have different preferences, and opinions about what they want and expect. Whether it's from software, a movie, music, IRCd, services, potential IRCops, Admins, the list goes on and on. If everybody was the same, my god this place would be boring as hell.

Next time you might want to pick a thread in which you act more maturely, lest people may simply ignore you.

lol since when do Americans have REAL freedom of speech? As I recall a teenage kid got a visit from the FBI after his freedom of speech essay on high school in which he shows a picture of Bush and stands next to it with his thumbs down.

If you really think you have freedom of speech, walk around the block with a pick sign that says "i hate ..." where ... is either a race or a company name. Or try saying something similar on public radio or television. People have been sued or imprisoned for less.

We're also having our civil liberties severely eroded here in the UK. It's one of the things that has made me more and more pro-EU, I feel it's one of the few remaining checks on our government's authority (and I never thought I'd say that's a good thing!).

Rights are being eroded everywhere. sadly isn't just the US. We're the worst about it though in the world. For a supposibly "Free" country it's starting to seem less and less as such. Whatever happened to Liberty and Justice for all?? Guess that was just another joke on us by the government.

Yes, I'm very quite aware of that FBI, and I understand the reasons for the changes. The sad part is though that the terrorist have accomplished what they wanted no matter what we do. We now live in a much-changed society that isnt as free as it once was, because of their actions. The Terrorist won, sad to say.
