I'm sorry for asking a dumb question but
Anyone heard of this. Is it Safe? Is it just some kind of chat room and no warez?
Thank You for your responses |

Yes, I already check, but how can I tell if it's chatting room or for some other purpose like downloading. I'm New to this so. I saw the same channel (#fet) on different server even through it was once used on Rizon. Is it just an old channel that belong to that new one or different one. You know, I don't want anything that is illegal.
Thank You again |

Well I checked it out and it looks like a bunch of bottlers which is xdcc clients downloading stuff...
Looks to me that channel used to be a warez channel but the group/bots went somewhere else...
Forgot bottlers don't chat |

| A bottler is a type of "catcher" script. It's purpose is to "catch" xdcc packets as they go by. They never talk, they don't do anything really except sit there. |

I figure the time it takes to find and download a reliable copy of anything on xDCC is still longer than walking/driving to the nearest video/music store and buying it) |
