Yes, that's right. I'm lazy and don't have time to build the server up, but I still would like to have a place to hang out at on IRC where it's sort of my own server and sort of not =) So, I'll buy you one.

Here's the catch, you actually have to be truly dedicated to the server and get users on it so that it's not a waste. I'm not going to waste my money for an empty server!

I don't care if you link it to another network or make it it's own network. Also, if it gets large enough I'll even buy a VPS for it so that it can hold more people and be theoretically(sp?) more stable. I also don't care what server software you run, makes no difference to me.

So, if you are truly interested, post a reply here with your contact information and some information about you as well (such as your first name, age, why you think you would make a good admin for it, etc etc)

Well, if I have 0 users but link it to a big established network, I still get the shell?

Hello. I'll be able to set it up charybdis/Unreal IRCd's I do best at with Anope/Atheme services and NeoStats if wanted. I'll be able to get a 50-60 user user-base mostly chatters and some idlers. I know many people who want a new place to hang-out. And I'll have a co-admin, a friend of another network that I've known for years. If interested, PM me.

damn whata good offer lol. stop by Irc.AFTeRDaRK-IRC.Net i can get 300-400 on 1 server.

When you say no botnets, does that include botnets similair to the IrCQNet setup? They have an eggdrop for every "official" channel just keeping channel order and inter-channel banning... would this be allowed?

I know its a stupid question, but I'd rather get clarification than not asking and getting fragged for having a botnet

by botnets i mean either actual ddos bots or massive eggdrop nets. IE, don't use the shell for just storing your eggdrops Wink

i am currently in contact with somebody that messaged me with a pretty interesting idea, so I will let everybody know more info soon about rather or not i decide to give it to him.
