I post the same thing but in different words and you think I'm making an issue out of it and say crap like "if you dont like it dont reply."
Well here a news flash ... I have just as much right to reply any anyone else does!
News flash #2 .. follow your own advice .. if you don't like it .. dont reply.
News flash #3 katsklaw wasn't the only one that seemed even remotely objectful to this thread yet once again .. katsklaw is in the spotlight and crap like "dont let the likes of katsklaw stop you".

Considering that there's another version out (1.1.2), and charybdis 2.0 family is very close to being released I don't see why all of this occured.
However, here's what's remaining on the todo for charybdis 2 (some of these might not make it however, this is more of my personal wishlist):
* Ban conditionals: Ban users who are in another channel, or require that they have to be in a channel in order to join this one, ban by gecos, ban by services account name, etcetera. Modularized for maximized configurability.
* Modular authentication: Moving ident/dns checks into modules to allow more control over whether or not they are used (more choice for the admins), in addition other authentication options can be added like a CTCP version check or whatever
* HURT/HEAL: The HURT/HEAL system requires users to identify to services within a certain time period or be disconnected automatically from the network.
Charybdis2 is approximately 60-70% complete by my estimate, and we hope to have a release in June.
You can track it's evolution via the ChangeLog, at http://svn.atheme.org/charybdis/trunk/ChangeLog
