I'm going to post these here because I feel it necessary for these comment to be seen, since most won't venture to the network pages. They are from a regular user of the forum and myself, have fun reading Smile

i just think this is the shittiest network to ever happen, staff are un helpfull. no consideration for users except for friends on the network and i will say again the crappiest network around

MOVIEBOT had his nickname dropped because he used his hosting company (host-nation) to get info on another user on the network and steal his nickserv pass. He is upset over the nick being dropped, when he was unethical by using his business to steal info from his customers. I would avoid his company and his network if i were u, he may try and steal YOU passes too (p.s. to find his net search on forums for his nick as author, he's always there whining about SOMETHING)

excuse me i never used my hosting-company as a means of getting users password. i got a users password from a ircop on nodrama and i aint telling n0ne of u lot. also shows how great you net is when tyhe comments are a means of expresion. *cough* (User has been banned from NoDramaIRC (NoDramaIRC does not take kindly to public abuse against the network , we also take impersonation very seriously. 10 Day ban. For appeals email glines@nodramairc.net))

Please Note (Host-Nation) is neither
affiliated with NoDramaIRC Networks or with any other irc network
in anyway. We neither currently do not host for any irc users.
We have not and will not use a clients account password in any way unless
given permission from the client(s). our policies state which our
clients must read before we set up an account what Host-Nation administration
can and own if a client decides to host with us.
There is also no/or ever been a staff member with host-nation called MOVIEBOT

You know what's funny about that? Only THREE ircops are able to recover passwords, and I am one of them, so your story about an ircop giving the password is completely made up. Also, in my conversation with you, I specifically said you got it from your hosting company, right? And you flipped out demanding to know how I knew that. Frankly, I'm glad that your company isn't affiliated with NoDramaIRC because we would hate to represent such a corrupt product from such dishonest admins. And as for not having an admin named moviebot with the company, ever heard of changing nicks? It IS possible you know. Although, maybe you didn't know that Smile

It's one thing for someone to get a pass and cause problems, but to use his company to steal the passes of his users and try and gain oper on other nets with stolen passes is pathetic. He is using his business trust to do so, which is unethical and just low. People like him shouldn't be allowed to own irc networks, let alone business'.

You know what's funny? You reply to the post using the nick MOVIEBOT, saying "we" are not associated with any irc network etc. And that there is no MOVIEBOT admin with "us" . Yet you're using the nick on here to defend your company, so I propose that maybe the admin of the company is really YOU (moviebot) under a different nick. Now as for the passes, you flipped on me when I asked if you got the pass from hosting, but you never denied it. You claimed it would be "fun" to try and group your nick with someone else's. You claim that an ircop gave you the password, only 3 people are able to recover passwords and none of those 3 would have given it out. Now as for your company, it offers a corrupt product with admins that steal passes from the users so that you can oper/identify on other nets. Does this make you feel special? Really? That's pathetic. At least show some SKILL to get the passes instead of using your hosting company. People like the admins at host-nation..

Continued..

People like the admins at host-nation don't deserve to own hosting companies.

how can your story checkout princess? how do we know only 3 ircops can retrieve passwords? As for your comment about Host-Nation we have not and will never use a clients password unless given permission from the client itself. you should also read host-nation policies on what host-nation administration owns when a client decides to host with us.
and also there are a few users who use the account MOVIEBOT on searchirc, there is also 1 of the users MOVIEBOT in which talks to the user whos nickserv pass was stolen on msn and his msn email first name was his password. that is where the password came from and that was just a guess when MOVIEBOT decided to group with the users nickname. for all the rest of your made up stories priness you and your network is disgusting.

PRiNCeSS-MaiCHu wrote on Dec 24th, 2005, 9:00 pm:

Well, in another post from this MOVIEBOT person, he stated in ONE post that first he does not sell to irc customers, and in the same post, different sentence, he stated that his company doesn't steal passwords. Hmm...kinda contradicting there, isn't it? I really don't see how this can be several people using the same nick, if it's in the same post?

PRiNCeSS-MaiCHu wrote on Dec 24th, 2005, 9:01 pm:

And as for only 3 ircops being able to recover passwords, we have the command locked to Services Roots, and only those have axx to the services box to change that option Smile

Host-Nation has not sold anything to irc users at al for now but we hope to do so soon. the comment what you said "he stated in ONE post that first he does not sell to irc customers, and in the same post, different sentence, he stated that his company doesn't steal passwords" that was a overall remark about our Hosting that we would never do anything to take advantage of a hosting client!! Our legal team has been notified of this and they have been using MOVIEBOT account also. HAve you forgotten what was said before? than the users nickserv pass on one of the users who uses MOVIEBOT has the users msn in his msn and talks to him regulary and decided to guess his nickserv pass from the users msn name the name@hotmail that where he got the password from anyway. you can even ask the user that he uses the same password as his hotmail/msn email name.
