A free shell lookin for a home

Some of you may remember that I used to run a pretty successful ircd hosting company. anywho i sold that company off to a friend of mine but still retained a shell for personal use that i currently use for hosting myspace pics and the occasional porn video.

The box is very stable and very loved, but my personal IP on that box is sort of going to waste not being used for an ircd. I'm looking for a pretty well-established network that would like a server that will be loved, and basically be used to spread users out on / attract more users.

The box this shell is hosted on is in tampa, florida, hosted at the sagonet datacenter.

Simple rules for qualification:

- No warez on this network, ever, period.
- Please don't attract ddos attacks, its not nice Smile

- Atleast 50 regular users please Smile

Also, I don't really want to become involved in the server's administering at all, i'll pretty much just idle most of the time Smile

Let me clarify what this post is about Smile

I'm not looking to link anywhere. I'm looking for someone to take over the shell for me and link it to their network. I won't be admining the server at all, I want someone to admin it themselves and use it to help make their network grow.

In other words, like I said, this is a free shell for that person Smile

you don't seem to be understanding what i want to do. i dont want to do any work because i dont care if someone takes the shell or not. i just thought i would be nice and offer it up to the community here.

no offence meant of course, but it seemed kinda silly that you want me to fill out a link application as if im asking you to take the shell. im not, im just offering it up as first come first serve kinda thing Smile

i would like to use it for microsonic, we are a new netwrok started 2 days less than a month ago and already have more than 90 users. We have no warez or anything like that. If you need more info, post here or pm me. the ircs round robin is irc.microsonic.org

AtlantisIRC is interested, if you're still looking for a "home"..we just started two days ago, and currently have 2 servers and 16 users...To be honest, We aren't desperate for another server, but eventually we will need one..plus it'd be nice to have a new face around for a change.

irc.city-17.us would be interested. Currently we have about 60 users and have been around about six months. Our round robin is irc.city-17.us. We currently have three servers, but another would be great.
