Generally, if you're on a network, there is nothing you can do about it unless you're the administrator of the network, because the xdcc transfer is basically trying to get in contact with the gateway pc. (or router).
You will need to talk to your system administrator and add ports, 1024-5000 forwarded to you. "Port Forwarding", is what my friend calls it, but that'd be a waste of time doing so at school. Your teacher will look at you funny, laugh and put you on a non-internet PC  |

i sometimes get the same message ".. dcc spending .."
but in other channels it works perfectly
i'm using mIRC 6.14 with standard settings
can anyone help me plz ? |

how come i dnt hav this nd im having prblms to w/ the dcc pending |

| Sometimes with mIRC 6.14 in the same channel one DCC works fine and another gives me that message. I usually wait a few minutes and try to get again and it may or may not work. Usually it will go after a few retries |

I cant find any place to enter port numbers in the DCC settings.. I'm using the newest version of mIRC v6.16 |
