YES! You heard it (well... saw it..) here first. For most of you that have had the privilege to use GameServ the first few months of it's development, you may now upgrade your beloved GameServ to v1.2.5! In this version many things have been fixed! Here is a small list of changes:
* All level master data is now being stored in data/masters.dat - kain
* Added a new config file directive that allows you to specify whether or
not you want gameserv to send notices to the channel every time it
writes the player database - kain
* Some under the scenes changes have been made with the way players' and
monsters' names, weapons, and death phrases are being stored which
should make for less memory leakage and minimized overall memory
usage - kain
* Fixed a minor bug where gameserv was not notifying of a syntax error in
/msg gameserv store buy x x - kain (thank you wolfgar)

| One bug I did notice, and wonder if it has been resolved, is the use command while in a PvP fight. Or is this command disabled while a player is fighting other players (apparently, this command doesn't generate an issue when fighting in the forest) |

The use command should be disabled during all fights except for Healing potions. You also lose your turn when you use a healing potion.
Also, please go to www.gameserv.us for any future bug reports, because I probably won't be checking this forum much  |

Simple Request: GameServ linking, so players on one net can challenge players on other nets where GameServ is linked, and (if possible) allow players to login to their accounts from any net
EG:
| Code: | PlayerA has an account on NetworkX, PlayerB has an account on NetworkZ
PlayerA can challenge PlayerB from their respective networks
either player can identify for their account from either NetworkX or NetworkZ |
Having that sort of functionality would definately make GameServ a bonus |
