Forums are a great idea but not a necessity for a irc network. I no longer own a network but the ones i visit all have forums but generally get very little use due to they are not needed 90% of the time but when they are needed they are very handy!
If i ever ran a irc network again i'd have a forum  |

my network has a forum which is for all users to use, we have seperate hidden areas for opers and network admins. You can reach our forum at: www.federationirc.net/forum/
Main website hasnt been finished yet but oh well, we are trying to get the network with users then we will work more |
