| why is the searchirc board filled with negitive users. always have something negitive to say about what other ppl do or have. Dont you find it a bleek existence trying to make someone else feel bad for your emty life? or is that yalls life ambition to make ppl feel like that so it makes your life seem just a bit better. |

| eh, some users are like that, some people just feel that it's fair to give people warnings about genuine issues. |

The irony in your statement is in the fact that you said nothing positive :) |

| It's because this is SearchIRC we're a bunch of negative people with nothing positive to say on life generally. |

so, allow me to follow your mathematics here.
user + posting = childish.
hrmm.
there's a flaw there somewhere.
perhaps what you're actually trying to say is
'' user + letting people know that someone's a fuckhead/ screws people around = childish ''
if so,
answer me this:
how can you define forewarning others about negative things to be childish?
generally, the purpose of forewarning people about things, is to help OTHERS learn from YOUR mistakes. for example, in the case of a server linking to your network, which turns out to be run by powerhungry childish nutjobs, making a post informing people about what happened, can hardly be considered childish, it's an attempt to warn the rest of the irc community which checks these boards about the situation, and who's involved, to help them avoid becoming involved in the same situation themselves. i admit, some people do this in the manner of childish bitching originally, other times it starts calmly and sanely, and people respond to it, turning the information eventually into a sort of flame war between the two parties originally involved. it works like this.
Party A makes warning post for community
Party B responds by slandering party A
party A defends themselves against the slander
party B tries to make defense look like bullshit
party A defends themselves again, comments on stupidity of the slander
party B slanders more, sometimes resorts to ddos
party A defends more against slander, attempts defense against ddos.
party C(admins) lock the thread.
usually shit is done with good intentions, not bad. |

Childish, no, self righteous, yes. People dont like people bad talking about each other, because the truth hurts.
And your most certainly correct, the majority of these forum posts is just to discuss how I know more then you, so you should shut up and die.
My net is better then your net, stop spamming your net on mine, blah blah blah.
Ok, your right, it is childish.
And now for a positive note.
Your giving most of us a good laugh (me at least) and a great warning to stay as far away from your net(s) as possible. |
