Guess what, not only that, but right after I posted this, I went to go try to edit one of my posts? Same error! Hasn't even been 30 minutes...
*edit* Oh, I guess it's 30 minutes from the time the post was entered... still silly though... |

It was implemented because we had a situation where someone went in, and deleted the content of all their posts.
The 30 minute rule allows for you to make any spelling changes (although that's what the preview button is for), but not change the content later down the road.
