Dear IRC Freinds,
I merged my network a couple months back into another network, at the time, they were small and needed help, and so did I after the network claps. The network was new, and promised to bring us user and a good network....
Well This network is a small Warez network, and now offers script-kiddies and bot-net people a place to hang out. I feel I'm getting in too deep, and if I pull out of this network they will ddos and attack my PCs and my Web hosting company.. I knew I should have never joined there, but with no were else to turn, I merged.
Yea it has had some good times on there, but I don't want to be part of the warez/bot nets, and Script kiddy network anymore.
What have I done??? I know now that I need to get away but how???
I have invested so much of my time and money to make this network grow.
How do I pull out of a network, without getting them upset with me an attacking me?
Help.........................

Since you knew and all, and you invested so much shouldn't the question of, "Is this worth going to this network and merging after all I put into my own network?"
I would think your on your own to pay the concequences.

| Talk to the owner of the other net explaining why you want to delink your net. Just they tell them that you are at risk of losing everything because the company where you rent the shell/dedicated server from found out about the illegal activities. Just an idea, but may work. |

1) get their ip addresses, their shell company, and their isps
2) notify their isp and their shell company of what is happening...
3) delink.
4) if they attack you, notify their isps/shell company... |

While you may be right, about me, making bad desions, dont you think instead of trying to insult me while Im asking only for help, you might think about helping someone.
Your Comments may be funny to you but to me that was an unwhanted, and Rude, and hurtfull comment,
I hope if you ever need help the people that post to your replies arent as runde and insentive to you as you were to me.
Your post should be ccounted against you and you should find some place else to post your rude remarks, Searchirc does not need you..(My opion)

Why in the world would the truth be insulting? Why in the world would you call out to everyone to dig you out of your own grave?

If I need help, i'm not gonna come on an irc forum to find it. Also, I don't care if someone want's to cast a stone at me and be insensitive. You know why, because they aren't worth my time. You better get yourself set straight that I frankly do not care if they come down on me. It won't happen that someone will respond how you feel I did to you because i'm not gonna come to this place for help.

Why should my opinion be counted against me? Because I have one like you do and it's not the same, does it mean mine is lesser. Why does Searchirc not need me. I'm entitled to my opinion as much as you are your's. If search irc don't want me they can do that at their discretion not yours.

Please remember that comment the next time your house is on fire. Perhaps, the next time your in an accident in a car that's on it's top and you need extrication or perhaps the next time your choking and you need someone to help you.
All the above would be truth if it happened .. perhaps the fire department should just show up and insult you and laugh .. then go about their own business .. why should they help you out of your own grave?

As was mentioned - tell them simply you are not interested in being part of their network and had no idea they were part of such activity and feel it is in your best interest to separate from their network, but will help them find another network to link up to.
If you decide you would like to link up to another network - that has no warez or pr0n and does not want that kind of activity ... we are also at your disposal and welcome other networks.
We have a couple of admins from efnet on our network helping us out.

Don't ya think that's just a tad bit of an exaggeration? hmm
Let's see if I can put this in a way you would understand...it is one thing to have common sense and knowing beforehand conscienely the concequence OR the second instance where accident's do happen?
My point being, in this instance someone went fully into something knowing they should not do this because of the concequence but they went and did it anyway.

I have my opinion and now i'm getting told to stfu? As you had quoted me on about not coming here to discuss his problem, we have that and we have ppl telling him to go get this info from isp's and stuff. It's like was I telling him what to do or not do? My words were to only have him think that maybe he should go and get information that he should know how to get if he's already into computers he should have knowledge of how to get isp info and deal with his isp to see if he can get help from them. If he has the knowledge of network's and stuff I would think that he know's that. Pretty simple.
And it not being worth my time...when I said that and how you used my words are completly out of context. If you read correctly I was saying that in reference to what people think of me.
