|
|
I have released a script that should assist networks wanting to have an online WHOIS for their web site - "WhoisIRC".
It is still in beta version, but it is stable enough, and running on a few networks already.
http://www.acemiles.com/scripts-whoisirc.php
There is no caching setup yet (expect it in the next version, for sure), and I am also working on a centralized whois search that will integrate with this script.
Feel free to email or PM me with any comments, suggestions, problems, rants, raves, etc.

I second that. Our script is located at: | Code: | | hxxp://www.wikkedwire.com/whois.php | (replace xx with tt)
Thanks,

| Submitted to various PHP script sites - The script is pretty much out of beta, and has no known bugs. (But lots of TODO's) |

I will probably release a new version of the script after the new year... Cleaning up the code, fixing a bug or two, and adding a web-based control panel.
Within a month or two after that, I'll try to get a caching-enabled version (via MySQL) put out. |

| It is much like SearchIRC's Whois Online - it connects to an IRC server, and responds with a users /whois data, except WhoisIRC is availible for any network to use, while SearchIRC's system is for a limited number of networks only. Also, you can customize WhoisIRC, to make it fit your design. |
