Well the only reason I went looking was the "I'm gonna copywrite my topic". I had a reason it was related to here simply because of that- and with all this "you're violating the AUP" screaming, I had a feeling they were violating the AUP without question-so I went hunting  |

sorry i have to post my opinion just because i can and its itching me to do so what you said above about irc channel operators wanting there channels recognized is a fact everyone wants there IRC channels to be famous and known unless there is something "ILLEGAL" that is going on there or the channel owner is NOT a true IRC'er, and if in fact then go back to AOL or yahoo

I think this has to be the dumbest thing anybody has posted here so far. Like one of the others said before....If you want a 'private' channel, then a private server would be the answer. Not one of the four largest ones out there on the net! As a network owner, the owner does what he or she thinks necessary to build up the network. Advertising is the main thing. Network and channel lists........are a must! If not for the advertising, your channel Dot, would have no chatters and you would not be here complaining.
Take care and hope that maybe you can find a private network to chat on.
