For the past few weeks I've been wanting to do some work on my network, I am in the process of gathering information in order to decide if I should switch the ircd/services we use.
I am making this thread to get some opinions from other admins on what ircd/services combo they use and some things they like about it.
Under no circumstance am I running UnrealIRCD so please dont mention it.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I was thinking of running ANOPE services so I would prefer ircd's that are compatible with it. Aditionally if you have the link for the anope portal software hook me up. Thanks again. |

I run Unreal3.2/Anope. I mention it because I use it.
I believe anope will work on quite a few IRCD's. As they have been releasing newer versions, I've seen it support more IRCd's. Check out their website-the support section could probably tell you which ones they support. |

what is IRCd sevices, it's a new folder that I type, in the process of stabilizate the version of Unrealircd over NT/2k/XP/2k3.
My idea is use like a folder for diferent services of IRC that can link diferent services in package, for to be compatible one with others, and to make standars for share databases of services, make a standar unification, of the files, and in this way make more easy to make links with the standar ircd 3.2, that is a crossplatform. I open some channel of support in the Alpha/home of the test over 2k3.
